Meaningful Places
Every place has a story...
Some places become part of who we are—a childhood home, a favorite storefront, the chapel where vows were exchanged, or the front porch where generations gathered. Through watercolor, I love preserving not just their architecture, but the memories they hold.

Family Homes
Some of my favorite projects have been homes filled with memories—places where children grew up, families gathered, and milestones were celebrated. While I rarely accept private commissions today, these illustrations continue to shape how I approach every collection I create.

Created as the cover illustration for Jenny
Marrs' book, this piece became one of the most
meaningful projects of my career. Rather than simply
painting a house, I illustrated the place where so many of their family's stories began.

For one HGTV Fixer to Fabulous renovation, I
created a custom watercolor that became a commemorative wine label honoring a family's
return home after a devastating tornado. The
bottle serves as a reminder that some places—
and the stories they hold—are worth celebrating.
Stories from the Community

Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel
One of Northwest Arkansas' most recognizable landmarks, this watercolor has become one of my most collected local prints.
The Berry Farm
Created for The Berry Farm, a Northwest Arkansas nonprofit founded by Dave and Jenny Marrs. The illustration became part of the farm's visual identity, supporting a mission that funds agricultural training and education for orphaned and vulnerable youth in Zimbabwe through Help One Now.

The Welcome Inn
Some places carry stories across generations. Originally a 19th-century farmstead, The Welcome Inn was thoughtfully restored into a place of hospitality and rest. This illustration celebrates the beauty of preserving history while welcoming new memories.

Interested in a Commission?
I currently accept only a small number of custom illustration projects each year as my schedule allows. If you have a meaningful project you'd like to discuss, I'd love to hear about it!
